Billy Tregear

Eleven years old, and the only witness who enjoyed giving a statement. Billy delivered the papers to half of Porthgrey and knew every dog, cat and budgie on his round by name. Constable Pike did not expect much from him. Hale thinks Pike was wrong.

Every witness had a life beyond that night. Some of those lives are in the sealed file, which opens once you have solved the case.
