Lamplight Hill

Mine captains built these villas when copper paid for such things, and shipping agents bought them when it stopped. From the top of the hill you can see every lamp in the harbor, which on Lantern Night was rather the point. The gardens are still immaculate. The lady at number four offered me tea and asked, very politely, whether I was from the council.
